We need to speak what thus saith the Lord (according to scripture) and not what thus saith our hearts, minds, and ways the world speaks along with worldly minded church folks.
WHAT DID GOD SAY?! Remember, we have an unction from the Holy One (God Himself) to know (discern and perceive, only in the perfect tense) all things we need to know in the moment (1 John 2:20).
Folks need to stop trying to motivate people into salvation and SPEAK ONLY WHAT GOD SAID ABOUT IT!!! Oh, that’s right, God’s not talking to them so all they have to say comes from their hearts, minds, and ways the world speaks.
I am reminded of what God said to Jeremiah to write in Jeremiah 23:21-22, “I have not sent these prophets, yet they ran: I have not spoken to them, yet they prophesied. But if they had stood in my counsel, and had caused my people to hear my words, then they should have turned them from their evil way, and from the evil of their doings.”
The original Hebrew definition of the word “prophets” in this scripture refers to “one who brings forth the inner fruit.” And, the Strong’s concordance denotes that the “prophet” is an “inspired man” or speaker.
Therefore, the inner fruit of the prophets God do not send nor speak to are as corrupt trees which Jesus spoke of in Matthew 7:17-18, “Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit. A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit.”
Folks, consider these references:
- (Philippians 3:2-3) Beware of dogs, beware of evil workers, beware of the concision. For we are the circumcision, which worship God in the spirit, and rejoice in Christ Jesus, and have no confidence in the flesh.
- (2 Timothy 3:13-15) But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived. But continue thou in the things which thou hast learned and hast been assured of, knowing of whom thou hast learned them; And that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus.
You see, God’s word is able to make us wise unto salvation — not motivated speakers … there is no word of God in their heart nor in their mouth. Why? Out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh (Matthew 12:34; Luke 6:45). People bust on themselves every time they say something that God did not say. Pay attention long enough and many more of us will discern and perceive that these speakers are as corrupt trees with no life in them — they are as the fig tree dried up from its roots (Mark 11:20).
He/She who hath an ear to hear, let them hear.
